John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Q: God loves me so much that He sent His Son to die for me. Why?
A: Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Q: Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s Holy standard. Why is this a big deal?
A: Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Q: The consequences of committing sin is death – separation from God and heaven. So how can I be with God and go to heaven?
A: Romans 10:9-10 and verse 13 says “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
Q: Believe and accept that God’s son died for you. Confess Jesus as Lord and ask Him to come into your life and forgive you for all your sins. Now what do I do?
A: God wants you to know Him. Get a Bible and start reading the book called, “John”. Then spend time talking to God about your plans and concerns. Finally, start attending a Bible teaching church so other Christians can encourage you and help you to follow the path God has laid out for you in the Bible.
